Bonnie Kellett
Bonnie Kellett is a Multi-award winning singer, song writer, guitarist and violinist. Bonnie has become a popular entertainer performing in front of thousands of people at the Sydney Opera House (alongside Jon English), The Sydney Entertainment Centre, and overseas in the USA, Fiji and Asia.
Born and raised in the rural vineyards of Willunga, South Australia. She inherited her passion for music from her late father. Growing up, her parents took her to almost every single country and folk music festival in South Australia and Southern Victoria. Bonnie would sing and play violin, her Dad would sing and play guitar and her Mum would play the flute and dance.
Bonnie moved to Sydney to study full time at Actors Centre Australia and received a Bachelor of Music at the Australian Institute of Music.
Recently, Bonnie travelled to Nashville, USA, where she was invited to work with award winning song writers and composers Chris Pelcer, Jon Tiven, Leslie Mills and James Wold. Writers that have worked with Ray Parker Jr, BJ Thomas, Jack Clement, BB King, Rod Stewart and Wilson Pickett, just to name a few. Their songs have created Platinum record sales.
Bonnie’s trip to Nashville was completed with a live performance of her original songs at the famous Douglas Corner Cafe. The venue that helped start the careers of Alan Jackson, Trisha Yearwood, Billy Dean, John Berry, Blake Shelton and Garth Brooks.
Currently, Bonnie’s original song ‘Humble Hero,’ written about her father’s discovery of the 1911 Schuster Violin, which inspired her to learn to play, has been selected as one of ten finalists for the 2019 Judith Crossley Memorial Song writing Award. Bonnie will be attending the Fleurieu Folk Festival in Adelaide in late October for the finals.
Bonnie loves to thrill the audience with her powerhouse vocals and playing the violin to her signature song, country music’s huge hit “Devil Went Down To Georgia” with dramatised violin and stage antics.
Bonnie is a passionate performer, returning to Sydney after living in Byron to work on her first original album and to perform live at venues and festivals. She uses live looping technology so that she can perform guitar and violin at the same time.

Testimonials
We just wanted to send you a quick email to say it was so lovely to meet you on Saturday night and Stephen and I had such a great wedding day which you, Bonnie and Jerome played a big part in 🙂
The music on the day was so lovely and so many people commented on how great the guys were. We loved their voices and musicality and looking back at the videos of the ceremony it was just perfect for the venue and the day 🙂 Hope you’re enjoying the start to your week and thanks again for all your hard work. Please pass on to Bonnie and Jerome for us how truly amazing we thought they were.
