Budi Bone

By May 17, 2013
Audi Boné (Boody Boné) was born in Indonesia and grew up in Bali. Learned to sing from a professional vocal coach at a church choir, from here he developed his singing and musical talent. Budi became a professional singer in 1993 and performed in many five star hotels in Bali. As a professional musician in a famous International tourist destination island, Budi has learnt many different music styles and songs in different eras.

His unique skills in singing and playing percussion make his performance really special. Budi’s passion in music motivated him to know more about the song writers and also the history of the cover songs. It made him understand more about the cover songs and influences him to sing in soulful versatile voice. Budi plays various music style e.g. country, reggae, pop, rock and roll, alternative, jazz, R&B from the 60’s up to the current top ’40 hits. His huge music repertoire and ability to read the crowd makes his show suitable for all generations.

He moved with his family to Terrigal, Central Coast NSW, Australia in April 2005. Budi formed a duo named Kuta Groove Duo in November 2005.

Testimonials

From marketing to performance these guys are professional. Initially, I was impressed by their marketing & promotional material and wasn’t let down by their performance. Kuta Groove play a great mix of classics to top 40’s music with a unique funky reggae acoustic sound. They have performed at Tuggerah Lakes Golf Club at weddings and our weekly entertainment and now are regular performers due to their popularity with member, visitors and staff.

Hi Budi,
I just wanted to thank you once again for a wonderful night. Your music ‘made the night’ so very special.
Everyone there commented on how fantastic you guys were and I am sure if one of them has a function and need a band, you will be on top of their list.
From a business perspective, you are very organised and efficient and it was a pleasure dealing with you as everything was extremely well organised.
Well done and thanks again.

Hi Budi,
Hope all is well. Just writing to say thanks for putting on a great show at our dinner last week – the crowd would have loved to stay on that dance floor for much longer!
Hope we can work with you again in the future!
