Jimmy Bear began his adult life as a High School Teacher in Perth WA, where he taught Music, Languages, and English.

In 1985 he moved to Sydney to pursue his dream of being able to make a living as a singer / songwriter and live performance musician on the East Coast.

Jimmy Bear plays on average 180 -200 live shows a year and he has developed a highly successful one-man show that provides venues with a fantastic nights entertainment.

Jimmy has held many long term residencies at well known and ‘world famous’ Sydney bars.

16 years of Sat nights at O’Malley’s Irish Pub, Kings Cross must be some sort of record …….and yup he’s still there EVERY Sat folks!

Jimmy also plays many other Sydney & NSW venues ? and he’s almost a household name on the Sydney live music scene!
