Kate Young is a home-grown Wollongong girl who enjoys working in many capacities across the entertainment industry. As a bassist in the Wollongong acoustic Trio The Incidentals and in the corporate covers 80s rock band The Cassettes, she has had the opportunity to play venues large and small all around NSW. Kate also spins tracks as a regular host on Vox FM – Wollongong’s leading community radio station.
As a soloist Kate likes to focus on old crowd favourites with tunes from the 60s right up to now. She’s rocked her acoustic guitar, stomp box and rich husky Vocals all around the NSW east coast and central coast at pubs, clubs, weddings and private functions for the past 6+ years. Kate likes to keep the dancing tunes, laughs and sing-a-longs rolling throughout all of her performances! Capable of performing up to 4 hours – she is perfect for any venue or event.
Duet with a small cocktail drum kit (Morri Digrazia) is also available (at extra cost.)
