Michael Bond is a versatile and experienced singer and acoustic guitarist based in Wollongong, who has spent many years performing his way around the Illawarra and South Coast, performing in Clubs, Pubs, Bars, Cafés, Restaurants, Markets, Community Events, Weddings and Corporate Functions.
Michael plays a comprehensive selection of songs from a wide variety of genres and styles, by some of the world’s best singers and songwriters and artists, from classics by The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Simon and Garfunkel all the way through to artists such as Crowded House, Hunters and Collectors and Jeff Buckley, as well as modern hits by performers such as Passenger, George Ezra, Ed Sheeran, Passenger, James Bay, , Dylan Lewis, Vance Joy and More.
He is also busy writing original material.
Michael Bond has a passion for performing and loves the positive reactions he receives from audiences and loves continually seeking out new venues and events.
He has been hailed for energetic shows, which regularly entice audience members to sing and dance along. Performing a wide assortment of genres and well versed in tailoring the set list to suit the venue and crowd.
He has performed on many different stages over the past 5 years for wide range of events including Charity events, Festivals, Pubs, Parties and Weddings.
Michael Bond draws from a setlist which is a mash up of dancing as well as chilled music as suits the occasion, and features an eclectic mix of pop, rock, blues and funk from the 50’s to present day.
Of course requests are always welcome and there are always plenty of popular songs to suit your needs whether you want to be up and dancing, or sitting back relaxing during dinner.
